Women’s bodies change across life: pregnancy, busy years with young children, perimenopause and menopause. These stages can affect energy levels, sleep, appetite and where the body stores weight.
Why things change
- Muscle: without strength training, muscle mass tends to decline with age, which lowers the energy you use at rest.
- Hormones: during perimenopause and menopause, falling oestrogen can affect sleep, mood and body shape.
- Lifestyle: work, caring and family life can squeeze out time for exercise and planned meals.
Habits that help at every stage
- Do strength exercises on 2 or more days a week to look after muscles and bones.
- Include protein at each meal, from fish, eggs, dairy, beans or tofu.
- Fill half your plate with vegetables and fruit.
- Get calcium and vitamin D for bone health, and consider a vitamin D supplement in autumn and winter, as the NHS advises.
- Protect your sleep with a regular bedtime and less screen time at night.
When to see your GP
If you have menopause symptoms, unexplained weight changes or extreme tiredness, talk to your GP. They can discuss options and check for things like thyroid problems.
Our approach
We believe in food and movement first. Our supplements, including LipNutrix and Magnesium Complex, are there to support a routine, not replace one.

LipNutrix and our other products are food supplements, not medicines. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. If you take medication, have a medical condition, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, speak to your GP or pharmacist before taking any supplement.
