Choosing a natural weight management supplement can feel overwhelming. Use this checklist to compare products in a few minutes.
The checklist
- Full ingredient list with amounts. You should be able to see exactly how much of each ingredient you get per serving.
- Clear directions. How many capsules, when, and the maximum per day.
- Allergen information. For example, chitosan comes from shellfish.
- Stimulant content. Check for caffeine and other stimulants if you’re sensitive to them or drink a lot of coffee.
- Honest wording. Be wary of “fat burner”, “detox”, “melts fat” or specific weight-loss numbers. Most of these claims aren’t allowed in the UK.
- Safety warnings. Good labels cover pregnancy, under-18s and medication.
- A realistic message. The product should say it works alongside diet and exercise, not instead of them.
- Real contact details. A UK address and a way to reach a real person.
